I just wanted to offer a little dog bed inspiration:
We thrifted two twin beds with these blocky wood frames and transformed them into a doggie bed for our large dog that sleeps in this corner of the mud room at night.
My husband built into it a place to store the dog food that also doubles as a place to sit and put on your shoes. It also has a drawer on bottom to hold extra blankets/throw rugs.
I’ve just finished painting it and have a big dog bed ordered to fill up his new space
Now he need his very own sign to hang above it with his name. Maybe that will be my next project.
