Crochet Hungry Monster

Howdy Readers!!  I know it has been a while!!

Where has the year already gone?

But see what I have been up to?

I am so proud of this labor of love.  When my kids were little, they had some type of memory game that included some type of monster that ate the toys and you had to reach in to find a match.  I can’t for the life of me remember what that toy was called or exactly what it looked like, but one day just out of the blue I thought about it and how fun it would be to actually crochet a monster that could eat small toys!!

This pattern far exceeded my cute expectations, and I am so proud to finally be able to share it with you.

No, this pattern isn’t going to be a free blog pattern like most of my patterns because it’s just too involved with 20 pages of PDF instruction and pictures, but I promise that you will not be disappointed.

It’s available in both my ETSY and RAVELRY.

You want to make this pattern!! If you are a crocheter and make toys this is my latest pattern for you. This UNIQUE toy features a large open stomach where toys, prizes, goodies and more can hide.

Engage a child with sensory, stimulation toys and fun. You can even play matching games by adding 2 of each item inside.

Please consider the age of the child receiving your monster and stuff with age-appropriate toys/goodies.

These guys are HUGE – 26-30″ tall and about 12″ wide. This pattern is easy to modify for color and style.

This is a crochet tutorial pattern and is 20 pages with detailed photos and written out instructions.

See the above photo with the purple girl and the pile of toys in front of her? ALL OF THOSE TOYS fit inside her tummy.

Don’t miss this one. If you are only able to make one new toy this year, this is the one!!

Available in both my ETSY and RAVELRY.

Thank you and happy crocheting,

Kristi
