Letter H
Chain 26
Dc in 3rd chain and across the chain (24) Ch 1 and turn
Sc FLO across (24) ch 1 and turn
Sc BLO across (24) ch 1 and turn
Skip 1st stitch and slip stitch 12
Ch 18
Hdc in 2nd ch and in next 5
(Skip 2, dc 5 in the next space) repeat 2 times more
Skip 2 and slip stitch in the vertical stroke in the stitch above where your chain 18 starts.
Slip stitch in next. Ch 1
Hdc in chain and along curve for 21 hdc, then sc in the last 2.
Ch 1 and turn
Sc back up along the curve and on the inside of the top stroke. FO
The last step to these letters is steam blocking. This step is so important. I can’t stress how important and what kind of difference this step makes. I did a post about steam blocking HERE in relation to a different project, but the idea is the same. This step takes your letter up a notch! It makes is lay flat, look professional, soften a little and just all around look so much better.
