Letter P:
Ch 48.
Hdc 15
2 hdc in the next 5 stitches
Hdc 27. Chain 1 and turn
Hdc 25
(skip 2, shell) 4 times
Skip 2
2hdc in each of next 3 stitches
Hdc in the next 9
Sc in the last
Slip stitch in the next stitch. Ch 1 and turn
Skip the slip stitch and the slip stitch in the next 16 stitches.
Sc I nthe next 20 stitches (these should be your shell stitches)
Slip stitch down the rest of the letter and along the bottom.
FO
Fold over like you like it and tack down with matching yarn.
The last step to these letters is steam blocking. This step is so important. I can’t stress how important and what kind of difference this step makes. I did a post about steam blocking HERE in relation to a different project, but the idea is the same. This step takes your letter up a notch! It makes is lay flat, look professional, soften a little and just all around look so much better.
